16610 vs 16610lv hands

Hi all,

I am after a 16610lv hour hand to complete a set of hands to install onto a Rolex oyster perpetual. Is there much difference between the maxi hand on the LV vs the normal hour hand on the non-maxi dialled regular sub?

It may be difficult to source just the hour hand so I want to know if it will look silly if I pair the maxi minute hand with a regular hour hand?

In the same theme- does anyone have a 16610/16610LV hour hand for sale?

OP 116000 3-6-9 Arabic dial

I've had the mod done on my blue dial, I went with the regular sub hands, as I felt that the maxi hands would look 'out of kilter' (I also have Explorers and an LV 50th)
Looks ok to me, just my opinion....

IMO maxi hands are too big as above poster said.
