The Epaulet sneakers seem to be very nice quality, but to be honest, I've completely lost interest in sneakers. Boots on the other hand...

I'm not a big sneaker fan...but something other than running shoes to wear casually with jeans would be a change.

Plenty of great options out there, in fact the only time I wear sneakers are for physical activities or chores.

Lots of great dress sneakers priced from reasonable to ridiculous. I have these: Cole Haan are $130 and the berluti are $1460 both are perfect with casual slacks or jeans

The Cole Haan are incredibly light and comfortable. I wore them on a recent trip to Austria and already looking to add another color

You lace those the same way as I do mine Wes, I like that no lace shows underneath, except for the top on a 5 hole shoe which is unavoidable. Love the shoes, I haven't got any that deep colour.

Some different methods here;

I love and own quite a few pair of dress shoes, but I'm stuck with only a few brands without going full-blown bespoke. Anyone know of brands offering size 15 or 16 US off the rack? Right now I pretty much stick to Allen Edmonds, Magnanni, and Shoepassion.

Funny you should mention that. This is the first time I've laced my shoes like this. I've always crisscrossed my laces, but lacing them straight across does look much cleaner.

Wow, and I thought I had big feet. I am not aware of any shoemaker offering those sizes as standard. You may need to have the shoes made to order (note: MTO is not the same as bespoke).

Thanks! They are fantastic. I have them listed on SF because they're a bit snug for me, but I'm on the fence about letting them go. I suppose I could always do an MTO or wait for a GMTO and order the exact same shoe in the standard E fitting.

Before I got married 11 years ago, I had 2 pairs of shoes. That was it. A pair of trainers, and a pair of formal/work shoes. Now? Well... Let's just say it has expanded a 'little'... And this isn't all of it. I also have several pairs of boots, and a few more loafers. The bottom 3 are my daily wear ones (well, they have all seen some action, but those more than the others).

They're far from dressy, but I'm rocking my beat-up Alden brown chromexcel "jumper boots," as Leather Soul Hawaii calls this style, on the very comfortable Trubalance last today.

Not a real fan of or at least whole cuts aren't really my thing, but I do own a couple of pairs of shoes and boots from both St Crispin and Alden as well as many others from a number of different shoemakers.

My shoe rack is almost exclusively Allen Edmonds, with a couple pairs if Johnston and Murphy mixed in, and a sole pair of Cole Haan boots.

I purchased mine from a number of different places that included places like Leffot, however for the most part I purchased my shoes from Skoaktiebolaget. Unfortunately they no longer sell Edward Green nor do they sell Gaziano and Girling shoes.

If anyone is interested in John Lobb discontinued or seconds, Nick has refreshed his stock and updated his website.
