Does your Rolex motor move/vibrate as you move your wrist? Please Help

Hi Everyone,
I have a 1996 14060 submariner about once or twice a day I feel the movement/motor move as I move my wrist meaning it vibrate/jolt for a fraction of a second. It feels like a shock. Is this normal? Do you all feel this once in a while?

I bought this watch 4 months ago from a jewelry store and the owner told me I have a 1 year warranty on the movement. Should I take the watch back to the jewelry store and tell them about this issue or is this just normal for the watch to do this. Keep in mind the jewelry store does not have a Rolex account so can their watchmaker really help in this case, I mean I do not want aftermarket parts for my watch. Or should I just send it to Rikki from Timecare?

it has a caliber 3000 motor movement in the watch.

I can't say bad or good but I've owned and worn automatic watches for nearly 20 years and can't remember ever feeling the rotor move while wearing it. Or not wearing it for that matter. Your experience doesn't sound good, based on my experience.

I had this on my 5 year old Sub. If I ever had a minor jolt, like bouncing off a bottom step, it would vibrate/jolt for a fraction of a second. This would happen 5-6 times a day. I took to Rolex for service, received it back and have never felt it since.

I'd suggest using the warranty, it's not nice to worry about things that shouldn't be worried about!

I dont know about the movement so I would not know.

Please call Rik and describe the issue with the watch. May be a worn rotor axle.
