Luminor vs Radiomir

I've never had such a hard time picking out a watch. Trying to decide on which Panerai to purchase. I think I have it narrowed down to the Luminor 112 or the Radiomir 210. I'm leaning towards the 210. Are the straps harder to change on the 210? To make matters worse I haven't found anyplace to actually see them both side by side. Anyone have both and want to post a wrist shot of them?

I prefer the rads but either would be a good choice. 2 screws per side of the rad for strap replacement. I find the rads fit undershirt cuffs better than the luminors but its purely your preference. Its like LAYS potato chips I bet you can not stop at one.

210 is a real beauty. but to your question, luminor vs. rad... there is no right answer. you have to buy the watch you love the most.

First time I like Luminor than Radiomir. But now, I more choose Radiomir than Luminor. I already flip my 112. And if someday I wanna buy a Pannie again, I will buy a Radiomir (210, Black Seal or 1936 limited model).

Get the Luminor I'm biased though, here's my 111...

I like the Luminor over the Radiomir, I like the big crown. the 112 has a water resistance of 300M the 210 is only 100M. Also I don't think the Radiomir comes with a second rubber strap (the Luminor comes with a second strap). They are both nice watches, I would like to have both of them.

Thanks for the input. On a Radiomir is it difficult to unscrew from the case and then fish the strap attachment thingy through the strap. It seems that it would be hard to get it through the hole in the strap? Is one holding the strap more secure then the other? Looking at Mark's pictures of his 112 sure makes that model appealing to me. Now to try and find one!

they attach differently

the 112 uses a screw that goes through the strap

the radiomirs use 4 screws, each hold an L shaped piece that inserts into one side of the strap; so nothing gets fished, just 2 pieces on each strap (one on each side) to hold it. you can see it on the pic i posted of the backside.

I realize some will disagree, but I have always thought of the Lum. as a sport watch and the Rad as a dress model.

I don't know a great deal about Panerai watches, but I'm learning more about them.
so for what its worth, and based on what I have seen in the photos here, I would buy the Luminor, for me the protective guard that is around the crown, is classic and is instantly recognisable as a Panerai.
Now that I have said my pennies worth, I shall retreat back under my shell!!

Personally i'm a big fan of the Luminor Sumersible I don't know what your budget is but look into the PAM 202. ;)

Thanks guys....I've made my decision! I've ordered one of each a model 112 and a model 210. This should make it easier to compare them don't you think?

The radiomirs are great, but for me...the classic PAM needs the crown guard so Luminor for me.
