I bought a new DJ41 last September. Over the last 7 months it has averaged -2s/day. I'm quite pleased it meets the new -2/+2 so have no complaints. The Rolex website states "on the order of -2/+2". Not quite sure what "on the order of" would actually mean. Guess that could indicate there might be some slippage from the standard and satisfaction is dependent on the owner's personal tolerance (as per the OP's point of this thread). For me I'm OK even within the old standard of -4/+6. BTW.....loving my DJ41!

LOL, a little OCD the first weeks ;) Parallax errors force you to have several measures to mitigate.
Now as G'ed says, I know there is a battery inside !!!!
