16610 clasp on 116610 bracelet?

Apologies if this was already discussed and I missed it, but my search found many results for fitting the new 116610 glide lock clasp on the old 16610 bracelet.

I find the new glide lock a little too big and was wondering can you fit the old 16610 clasp onto the new 116610 bracelet. Is this possible?

Yeah I think a couple aftermarket pins need to be used but I've seen the retrofit done for sure.

I feel like the weight distribution may be a bit off though, since the old clasps were more "dainty" and new watch so heavy. Would love to see pictures though if you make it happen

There is no way I would do that...but hey, it's your watch.

And yes, I think it would be possible.

16610 clasp on 116610 bracelet?

Thanks all - really appreciate the feedback.

I will be looking to source a 16610 clasp and fit it on my 116610 SubC.

I heard there was "newer" clasp of the 16610 clasp. Am I correct in assuming it to be the 91350?

I won't get rid of it - sorry! I just want to have the option to try out the older, smaller and slimmer clasp. Which I also love the look of more than the n w glide lock.

Use the clasp off the Ceramic GMT, I use one on my 16610 and it is perfect.

I agree for some watches a glidelock is much to large. The flip lock on a yachtmaster for example is perfectly proportioned. I tried the glidelock off another watch on it once for comparison and it was just too big. On a sub however I think it balances the watch out nicely. I actually wore a 16610 once with a gildelock and to me it was perfection!

I like that idea! I would just brush the PCL.
