5167 availability in U.K.?
Hi all
Always admired but have never really considered it on my wrist until recently. I currently own a Sub and Daytona (which I wouldn't let go of) but still find myself looking at the 5167 more and more. Finances mean I can't fund one presently but this forum and the 5167 comments / photos is doing a great job of making my mind up to commit to myself on focusing in on purchasing one within the next year. Can anyone advise on availability in the U.K.? Thanks |

Call around and ask a few ADs. I got a 5167 and 5711 Blue within a few months of asking.

Plan a campaign to lay the groundwork. Leave a watch magazine around with a photo if it, if you can find one. Take her to look at jewelry at a store that carries the 5167 and casually pass by it and comment on how nice that one looks, then move on. Couple weeks later show her a photo on this website and ask what she thinks. Etc.
I basically did the same thing when I bought a 911 Porsche, and it seemed to work. Just plant the seeds and don't push too hard. |
