Dee, had a stalk on your previous thread and was gutted to read what you went through pal - must've been an utterly horrendous experience, and one that is never justified.
I don't know if there is Khama or not, but put it this way - I'd rather live a life where I can go in to an AD and buy a nice watch from a lady with nice nails like you did, than live one where I've got to put myself in harms way to violently rip one off someone's wrist, probably not for my enjoyment, but to fund a habit, keep me in good standing with a gang or feed a brood. I'm so glad you've got in to a position where you can have another piece that you can enjoy, honestly earned. It's a real cautionary tale you share.. I enquired about insurance for mine, looks like it's about £200-300 a year for a straight-up direct policy, not got around to seeing what it would be to add to my home contents insurance yet - thinking it might be cheaper that way. Either way, insuring I think is a must - I'd rather be in a position where I can just hand it over, no grief, if ever the worst happened - or not ever suffer that sinking feeling if it was lifted from my home or somewhere else or damaged. Like others have said though, with it being registered stolen with Rolex - who knows, in 5, 10, 20 years time a new owner (unaware of the history) might send it over for a service, and you'll be reunited. I hope that's the case. All the best |

Thanks for all your good wishes guys, it feels good to share it on here although I don't plan on doing so with anyone else except those closest to me. Unfortunately, I couldn't reply to you all with one post the way I see others quoting and responding, must be the caveman in me!
I've just taken the stickers off and can't remember my previous ones having this many stickers! |

Congrats on the new purchase and sorry to hear about what happened last year. I thought I'd peeled all the stickers off my watch only to discover a month later I missed a few! Cheers on your new watch.
