Original M-Series or V-Series?
Newbie GV Anniversary question. Pros and Cons of your decision?
I was at a recent get-together of watch collectors. One of the fellas with both a Black dial Milgauss and a GV V-series. Mentioned that he was sorely dissapointed he didn't receive an M-series. I never asked why. History sake? That it was related to the huge demand and perhaps a shorter run worldwide? I have no idea. I look at MAXIDIALS thread and see that almost everything there was a Mseries. V only began a few months ago. I am on the list, but if you can give some advise or opinion. Any difference in the Series?

No difference between the models, they are the same. The "M" was just manufactured a few months prior to the "V", and even then, there could be some overlap between the two. Not an exact science.
If anything, I could see the "V" initially having a slightly higher value than an "M" (in terms of resale), but who knows in this economy.

I would rather have a V serial watch, rather then a "Older" serial no.
And in the case of the GV and the rumours that they stop producing it next year, having a V serial maybe a slightly better investment.

From a collector perspective...
"M" would represent the first release, so just like first edition books, would be the more valuable in the long term..
