This is quite a weird question to be honest. Some very rare lose dials for sale and a very bad pic. First off you can easily check authenticity on ie drsd.com but even without looking at the low-res picture I am skeptical. These dials, when rarely for sale, does not sell on bulk. :)

Who is offering them?

This is what's bothering me.
Normally those dials don't come up for sale and if not in such a batch.
The seller doesn't offer any description and neither where they came from..

I added some more pictures. He offered me to see them in person if I'm intrested.

Why is it a weird question the op has been offered some dials he's come to a Rolex forum and asked people opinion before committing?

Seems weird you think it's weird him asking to be honest

But I do agree these dials are rare and would be shocked if they was

Looks like a mk4. Are all dials damaged? Is the asking price reasonable or too good to be true?

It is weird to ask for an opinion on high value items when the pic is extremely low-res. I get the feeling either the OP is testing a fraud or is being frauded himself. Who considers to buy four dials worth 50k+ from pics like that? :)

I have to disappoint you, I'm not testing a fraud :)
As you asked before, the items are priced at a price "too good to be true".
But sometimes you might have a lucky find. And the seller doesn't seem to know what he's selling...
Therefore I want to check if it's worth driving 3 hours to have a look at those dials. Or if I'm wasting my time.

If they aren't damaged you should sit down in your car.

The one you showed with a better pic had some stains

1665 dials - are they legit?

What's up with the dial in the top left corner? It's a 1680 submariner depth rating dial with date window, but no model name?

Edit to add: I'm not usually a very suspicious person because I believe great finds are still out there. But I wonder why all 4 dials have the exact same shade of patina on the markers?

Now he sent some more pictures.
I'm even more confused.

What about the engraving on the back, does it line up with orignal dials?
Should the dials be marked with beyerle or singer or rolex or something like that?

Did he explain to you why he has what looks a lot like a partially refinished submariner dial for sale in the group?

In the world of Rolex, if it sounds too good to be true, you can bet it is. And those lucky finds are practically non existent, IMHO. I'd be willing to wager the seller DOES know what he has, and is trying to play you. There are several places on the internet that sells these 'refinished' dials. And using the word 'refinished' is putting it nicely.
