2 new hunks of steel (8 large pics)
I've been searching for a nice gsar and a Omega 3572.50 for sometime. Thanks to Frogman4me for parting with his Omega. Thanks to Father John for taking the time to discuss Speedy pros and help me decide on this beautiful watch.
I love both so far. The GSAR is meaningful to me because I have 21 years as a USGvt desk diver. I wore it on the rubber strap for awhile but really like it on the bracelet. I also have a Bond NATO that I will try for awhile on both the GSAR and the speedy. The speedmaster is beautiful. I need some polywatch because now that I took pics, I see some fine scratches. I can't see them with my eye though. The hesalite/sapphire combo is definitely the way to go for me. Glad I waited for one. It's thin enough to use for dress, so I would like to get a nice gator strap for it. pics: |

Nice ones Bob.
The hesalite crystal with the sapphire caseback is a great combination. That Marathon looks bullet proof. Excellent pix.

Nothing beats legendary Speedy!
And Marathon is remarkable watch, too, looks tougher than Breitling!
