Gents

I am helping a friend for him RM hunt. We came across a RM35-01 CA NTPT, full set and two years old. Asking price is usd 100k. Do you think it is reasonable or if not what is reasonable?

FWIW, a quick search on chrono24 gives a brand new example priced at 104K EUR.

yes, i saw a price as low as usd 106k unworn condition. I am not sure but I saw at the time, it was retailing at usd 120k so trying to understand what the second hand price should be. Is usd 80k reasonable?

Not going to get into pricing discussion here, but what I will say is make sure it has all the papers, it's purchased from a trusted source (or AD) and you (or your friend) know what they are doing and looking for in RM.

Good luck with the hunt (and I never believe half of what is on C24 BTW).

thanks, it is from a trusted source and got all. not sure about the price though, C24 is only indicative I agree. I read all thread before and I know RM35 is a desired model along with RM11. Are the older models ie RM35-01 is one of them?

35-01 NTPT is a hot model (even though discontinued). I replied to your PM.

Good luck and your friend will love the watch when he finds one

I never had any problem on C24, bought a few watches there for good prices, depends which models, can't say for RM as I don't know enough, was hesitating on getting a 035, the first model, but all were used and mint, so didn't get one...

I am not sure you will find a 35-01 for less than 100k used. The prices have firmed up quite a bit.

Great article. The watch itself doesn't do anything for me but it's fascinating for serious divers.

I think it's a fascinating watch for RM fans. I doubt very much it will float the boat of 'serious' divers however.

RM has had dive watches for a long time. But yes, most will not take a $140K watch diving.

To be fair if a guy wore that on the beach and took it off to go diving he'd look like a tool.

I'd certainly never dive in it, but I wish I had the extra $$ to just have a round RM--I think they look great for outdoor fun.

But, then again probably 90% of Sub (or AP Diver) owners probably never dive in their watch either.

New RM11-03.......this may be my favorite 11 yet, encompassing what I loved about the lotus and hated about the black jet. I've already got mine reserved and I am thrilled.

I also have some other RM gossip, but this is a picture thread no?!?!?!

This looks great... if my track is good this is the fifth edition of 11-03 - Gold, Gold-Ti, Ti, Blue Quartz being first four.

Looks great...but, probably won't see until next year if they horde it at Boutiques

Still waiting on Blue to show at dealers (which is Fall I hear).

Me likely, me want.

Gossip is acceptable, right? Spill the beans my friend or possibly start another thread.

Until the RG version comes out (RG sides, NTPT top and bottom)...

At the rate they are trickling inventory to AD's, it will be 2018 before I see one.

Nah, I love the all black. Thoughhhh I wouldn't mind some gold on the pushers.

Was originally planning on getting the 67-01 but was recently shown the 35-02 in black so now I'm in another dilemma. If you had a choice, would you go for the 35-01 or 35-02?
