True enough - I think he was wanting something that would proactively block the display of quoted images via the browser (the way Tapatalk for iOS does via a settings option)

That's valuable information.

I wish there was something similar for the computer.

Thanks, Peter, but Paul is correct. I was looking for prevent quoted images from showing up at all.

I think a word to the wise should suffice.

I'm probably not being realistic, though.

As far as TRF is concerned you could not be more wrong.

You owe Steve and the moderators an apology son.
I've already acknowledged my mistake on that one.

And I'm not your son. Here's some advice for you, too. Don't be so patronizing or condescending.

Not that hard to figure it out...
I posted details of an android app previously that will resize. Not as difficult as I thought. Not familiar with photobucket so much, I think it is an online cloud for pictures?

I'm with you. You clearly acknowledged upfront that you might be wrong or not fully informed. To me, your initial, suggested points were stated neutrally and were this a business, they would have been valid. Since this forum is a labor of love, it all makes sense now and you've acknowledged as much. No need for anyone to be jumping ugly...although I could be wrong.
