True enough - I think he was wanting something that would proactively block the display of quoted images via the browser (the way Tapatalk for iOS does via a settings option)

I'm with you. You clearly acknowledged upfront that you might be wrong or not fully informed. To me, your initial, suggested points were stated neutrally and were this a business, they would have been valid.
