Would you rather: Rolex edition (game)

Rules are simple:

Answer the question from the person above,
Create your own sick and messed up scenario.

Would you rather wear your grail watch but only you could see it? ( looks like you aren't wearing a watch )

Or

Wear your Grail watch but to everyone else it's an invicta?

:)

Plenty of games around if you have the urge.

Grail watch is for me, I can live without anyone else seeing it. Better to wear nothing than invicta.

Alright I'll play, if no one else wants to...

With no budget restrictions whatsoever,

WOULD YOU RATHER...

Wear ONE grail watch the rest of your life but cannot change it,

OR...

Wear a DIFFERENT grail watch every week, but can never switch back to one that you've worn?

I feel like a "grail watch" is singular, as in it is the "Holy Grail" one of a kind kind of watch to you. How can you have multiple grail watches? I would wear the one watch and be done with it.

Perhaps "grail" isn't the best choice of words, but I was simply trying to parallel the OP's terms.

What I was getting at was if your budget was unlimited, and you are given the choice of wearing any watch currently available but couldn't ever change it, would you choose that over being able to wear unlimited great watches that you'd have to trade monthly but never be able to repeat a selection?

It speaks to whether you could find a singular solidarity with one great watch despite inevitable changes in styles and attitudes, or enjoy unlimited variety at the expense of stability.

I'd consider myself in the first camp, but judging by the many posts I've read throughout my time on the forum, I'm guessing many might go for the perpetual flip without cost constraints.

Anyway, I was just trying to help out the OP with his game since he was new and didn't seem to have anyone to play with...

How about this one then...

WOULD YOU RATHER...
Have a Rolex that was 100% scratch and ding proof no matter what you did to it, BUT would always run 2 minutes off and could never be regulated

OR...

Have a Rolex that always kept perfect time, BUT would be a scratch magnet and could never be polished?

I love my Tudor North Flag.

Last night a friend asked which watch I was wearing and I told him it's a Tudor.

He says he's never heard of it.

What do I care?

I've never really had a grail watch and I don't really care if anyone knows what my watches are, although I'm not above showing off new ones, regardless of their price.

I do get the occasional compliment on a watch and I appreciate when that happens, but it's pretty rare, so that's not a motivator.

As long as I can tell the time and appreciate the watch for what it means to me, I'm happy.

I can't think of any questions to ask.

Are ya kidding? The trolls provide great comic relief! They're like the guys that try to call into talk shows with bogus/ridiculous discussion. Too many and it's a distraction, just enough and it's entertainment! A headache for the Mods, I'm sure, but as long as it isn't mean spirited.

I am curious why the OP hasn't come back to play his own game, though.
