Certainly the Sub feels thicker, but when just looking straight down on both the Explorer wears comparatively large. As an aside I found the ND much clearer to read than the Date. I wasn't expecting the cyclops to have such an impact, particularly when the hands are passing through it, makes it not particularly legible. The GMT I found even worse. Maybe I'm just used to how clear and easy to read the Explorer is. If I get another Rolex it will definitely be the ND Sub. |

I have the 114060 and I'm thinking about adding the 114270, but I would like to get a better idea about it's size. |

The 114060 and the 114270 make a nearly perfect pair that would be acceptable in virtually any setting.
Put the 114270 on a leather strap and you could stretch its utility even more. If for some reason I had to liquidate, my 14060M and my 114270 would serve my needs quite well. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

What a great looking watch! I really like the more classic proportions which are spot-on in my opinion! Now I definitely need to find a nice example and see how it fits. |
