1970 Rolex Datejust 1601 black dial
Hello everybody,
My name is Gilles, I'm 30 years old and here is a picture of my first Rolex Datejust 1601 "No Lume Dial" from 1970! What do you think of it ? |

Do you have better picture to post? The minute track markers seem to be wavy, which makes me want to think this could be a refinished dial

It's an original dial, very characteristic markers for that period but most likely refinished. Very common back in the day. It's a part of your watch's history. You can get an original dial easily or leave it like it is. The originality nazis would have you change it to be original although it wouldn't be original, We have to destroy the village to save the village. :)
Enjoy your beautiful watch. :) |

It's a refinished dial for sure.
