Strange enough- I hear the same rumor from a friend of mine who lives in Basel.
He told me that BLNR bezel will be only available in Gold and BLRO didn't move the sales expected. |

Wow sometimes your on the forums long enough that you realize you see a thread like OPs at least once a week. Or Is Rolex going to increase their prices once a month. LOL.
BLNR isn't going anywhere anytime soon, I heard in Europe it's difficult to source, but not impossible. It's one of Rolexes top sellers, no way they will discontinue it, compare that to the now discontinued SD4k which was an extremely horrible seller. MSRP was $10.5k range, but ADs were giving steep discounts because they were just collecting dust in the display case. No way, I think the intel was a Cocoa farmer from Basel, who overheard a Rolex Executive in the coffee shop bathroom. |

if they released the BLNR in WG sales would be lower than BLRO for sure. There are so many SS examples on the market already there is no incentive to buy a WG BLNR. With the BLRO, if you want those colors you buy gold there is no other option in SS.

Rolex started with one model, now they have hundreds of variations which all have most parts from a same steady model line. So why to discontinue a model variation which has just a different bezel, replaced in 5 minutes by professional.
Discontinue BLNR and put all bets to 42mm Pearlmaster.

OP, I am ok with them discontinuing it as I have mine already. That would actually work best for me, as I can sell mine for ...

Possibly if they were going to introduce a new colour BUT I seriously doubt it.

What's the difference between a watch rumor and a fairy tale? A fairy tale begins with "Once upon a time..." and a watch rumor begins with "A friend of mine mentioned that a reliable source had mentioned...."

Yes it is, and we should all buy as many as we can for what ever price is asked...
