Next Rolex buying this week.. Head spinning

So I have decided to pull the trigger on getting another Rolex, although I told myself I was going to buy 1 brand new Rolex and then not even look or think about another one till I hit a certain goal. After finding out they discontinued the SEA DWELLER and came out with a new one, pretty much a few months after I purchased mine, I was kind of upset because it has the red writing on it, and I love it. I still love my SD4K and think its the perfect size and everything about it is just right for a SS Rolex, I am itching for an everydayish gold Rolex.

When I laid eyes on the RG YM 116655 I fell in love, and said that was my dream watch, but then over time I started thinking economically and looking at the YG YM with the white face, thinking that its probably worth more with its weight in gold, and in the long run it might hold its value more....

what do you guys think as far as holding its value? being the first rubber strap, and RG... do you think there will ever be a RG bracelet to get (I've seen online renderings looked awesome) Do you think it will hold its value in the long run?

Models on straps tend to lose quite a lot off RRP in the long run compared to bracelet models. But they are also more discounted so it's important to buy right to offset the loss. The YM might be hard to get a decent discount on though because it's still quite new.

Guess you been on a shopping spreee. I'm considering the new Seadweller myself. I like the red, size and cyclops. Now, if you're looking PM, I recommend to get it on a bracelet. This way you can always change it to leather or rubber, if you desire.

I am looking at buying a Rolex sports model on bracelet but with an option to buy an end link and rubber strap. You get the best of both world.

All PMs fall in value so you have to buy right, but most important is to choose the watch you like the most, then get it at the best price.

I just went and tried some on at AD, I like the RG YM, I also like that two toned YM YG with the brown face, if only they made that face in black I think it would look a lot better. Two tone is not for everyone but I like it, and 20K for a watch on a rubber strap just seems to get to me a little! I feel it should fall around 15k to be honest, not 24k. I have seen some sell as low as 18K.
