111 or 112
I'm thinking to get one Panerai for myself.
Which one should I go for 111 or 112? |

I have 112 before, but I sold it. Yesterday I'm just bought 111, I really LOVE this watch.

111 over 112 but 005 or 000 over 111. The 111 is a great watch however there is something about that logo on the 005. I personally prefer the seconds hand.

I personally prefer 112 to 111, because the 2-hands dial look more balanced with more historical flavor, in combination with the trademark crown protection, making 112 a crossover of dress watch/sport watch. Maybe I am biased, coz I have got a 112. Rule of thumb, choose the watch you like most.

Had the 111G a few years back...replaced it with a 252...then replaced that with a 113...then replaced that with a 112...
the base is here to stay....well, I sure do like the 233/270 lineup... |

thanks all.
what is different between 111/112 and 000/005? just logo? After looking at pictures of 111/112, I'm leaning toward to 112 because of 9 ![]() |

Logos have closed backs, cookie-dial (painted-on numbers which I find much more attractive sandwich dials), and the logo in the dial.

111
The 111 is great. The clear back and sandwich dial really set it apart from the 005. I have a 000 and I like the logo, but I would definitely go with the 111 over the 005.
