Trooper Joel Davis, NYSP was killed yesterday while responding to a shots fired domestic call last around 8 PM.
Trooper Davis leaves behind a wife and three children.
Godspeed my brother, may your friends and family find peace.

I'm never prepared for these posts. This time is especially difficult as Joel was a friend. Two years ago we deployed to NYC together for a week. He was a Great Trooper, husband and father. I was lucky to call him a friend and brother.

RIP Joel. You will be missed.
