The manager at a local watch boutique (not Rolex) commented on my BLNR...
that's the one and only time... which suits me fine...

cheers

Chaps

My Freccione was noticed by a chap a few months ago who was fascinated by the orange hand but he did not notice that it was a Rolex. I quite liked that.

Regards

Mick

As many for my $1400 Tag F-1 as for my $6k Sub no date. However, that 47mm Marathon monster has garnered multiple eye bulges in the few weeks I've owned it. My Tag 2000 doesn't get much wrist time OR compliments, but it's tiny.

Over the four years of owning a SubC with date and an Exp 39mm nobody has ever mentioned that I had a Rolex, let alone a compliment!

Had my RG Nautilus recognised by two Rolex ADs today which was nice. Still no bloody discount, of course.

My Yacht-Master 2 gold with gold hands, I get from 3-5 a month. When I put my green submariner 16610LV I don't get any compliment. I also have a 16622 platinum Yacht-Master I get probably 1-2 a year.

I've received a few for my Subs but the watch that gets most of the compliments has to be my AP Diver

On my list at #2. Love this watch for the larger batons...my wife thinks the DJ41 looks better though (shes in the more proportional camp).

My Yacht Master received one compliment from a Subway Cashier in the 3 years I have owned it. I wear short sleeves, and I don't think anybody notices.

Outside of getting together with other watch enthusiasts no one comments, thankfully.

White dial Daytona... as a result, I sold it...didn't feel comfortable with the attention from strangers.

Whichever one I am wearing to the AD gets the most complements as I wear it on my right wrist while trying on a second watch.

I once got a compliment on my blue-face Anonimo Polluce on a rubber strap years ago (from a self-described 'watch guy' who was wearing a Piaget or something like that) -- I remember because he was the head of M&A at a bank we were working with (much older than me-- I was pretty junior at the time) and I was a little taken back and didn't know how to respond, especially since I was wearing a watch with a rubber strap with a suit, which most would consider not business appropriate (but I don't particularly care).

And two times (from hipster-type women) on my Max Bill on an alligator strap, which I remember because they were compliments from women, who I think usually don't pay attention to watches, let alone some random not super luxury brand. Who knew a $700 watch could be such a babe magnet (-;

Never on Rolex, Omega or the similar major brand watches that I've had over the years.
