Fellow timepiece connoisseurs; I have decided that it would be a great opportunity to meet individuals in my area by starting a monthly meet up. I always enjoy meeting new people and hearing their stories.

My idea is once a month on a Saturday morning, interested individuals get together at a restaurant for breakfast or brunch. We will try to pick a new location every month to meet. During the brunch, we will exchange stories and share with each other a glimpse into our personal lives. Every meeting after, we would each bring a friend that may be interested in the group.

Obviously, many discussions will be focused around watches and timepieces, however I believe once we get acquainted with one another, we will be able to open up the conversations more! This is a fantastic way (especially for you extroverts) to meet new people and form new social groups and relationships.

I would love for anyone interested to pm me or respond to this post so that I can get right on putting together a more formal plan. Once I have a general idea of how many people are interested, we can discuss dates, times, and locations!

Eager to see the responses and I welcome any and all feedback!

I "grew up" in Livingston and went to Rutgers. Were I still in NJ I'd certainly do a GT. Unfortunately I cannot travel due to disability.

Hi, I'm in NJ as well.

I was actually wondering where the watch enthusiasts are of NJ... Whenever I go to my AD it seems like they always have limited stock (I'm assuming people are always buying) but I feel like I never see anyone wear Rolex or other brands...

Should be north NJ as there are more specialty restaurants here. I specifically suggest Montclair or Hoboken, NJ.
