Never in a million years. That sub won't be worth much once you remove the stickers and you will regret it shortly after. Plus, every time I tried to consolidate something, I ended up regretting afterwards. The only way I would trade those 2 watches is for a full gold sub or daydate.

I'd keep the two you have. They are great pieces and you will have 2 rather than one

Should I trade SS Sub-C & TT DJ36 for Black TT Sub-C?

Here is my perspective (as the one watch person of many years, and 16613LB owner who wore it on all occasions for 10 or so years straight). DJ will not get much wrist time if you were to just trade the SS sub + cash towards 11613LB. It will be too small and redundant in every shape.

If the $$$ works for you , trading the two towards a new 116613LN is what I would go for. You won't regret not having the DJ around.

I haven't, I moved on to the full gold but blue dial.

Even if it makes little sense from a value perspective, there's no point in keeping two watches that don't 100% satisfy you, no matter what people say. You're the one wearing them so you know better what works for you. If you think it's the two-tone black Sub because it pops, so be it. It's your money and your taste. Don't listen to Paul Pluta ;-).

How are you liking the 116613LB as a daily so far? I read through your threads and it's got me leaning towards the bluesy but I'm worried it will be too loud for everyday use.

My wife says the same thing, but one day ...a third is coming...

But as far as your watch is concerned...If you do it, there may be a chance that the TT is Too much for daily wear, and if you trade at a loss, will you be OK with that?

If yes, I would talk to at least 3 Trusted sellers and get a feel for which one you like best...

Trusted Sellers each have their forte.

Thanks, I'd be losing out even if I picked up a pre-owned TT Sub-C, so that's a tough pill to swallow. I'm more of a "one watch guy" as I feel guilty not wearing the Sub when wearing the DJ and vice-versa lol.

Oh the agony! Lol

These get my vote. Like you I like the SS sub but I wanted something a little beafier so I went with the SD4K(which I recently sold to fund a SD43) and then I have a TT black face sub for a little bling and then a rose gold Yacht Master on Oysterflex for a bit of both. The combination you have is already nice and two very different styles. I would save up for the third if I was you. I am familiar with selling and regretting and then in the end buying the same watch again. Go with your heart and enjoy whatever you end up with.

The LB Sub is a great daily !
It was my daily before I got my BLNR for about a year .
Then in rotation with the BLNR and TT Black Sub 5 digit ref.
for another year...
Trimmed it back down to the Blue Sub C and am very happy
at the moment. Thing is , I wear it for me and not for anybody
else ! If someone thinks it's too much or too flashy it's their
problem not mine ... I enjoy looking at it and wearing it for my
own personal satisfaction. I've never received any negative
vibe or comments from anybody only compliments once in
awhile...

Making the Bluesy a daily is a personal decision which requires
a certain mindset . Don't worry what others may think or say !
As far as versatility, it's quite versatile. Dress up or down the
Steel/Gold/Blue combo pretty much goes with anything...

Thanks for the insight, I wanted to get input from someone who has owned the TT Black Sub and switched to the Blue.

I had both at the same time ...
Personally I can tell you the TT Black dial is slightly dressier
due to the black/gold combo... That said the Blue LB dial is
just pure bliss and mesmerizing when you look at it ...
At times while I liked the black dial it was a little boring when
compared to the blue dial ... My 2 cents but if I were to have
another sub next to the Bluesy it'd be the 16610 LN date !!!
Sporty and dressy and different enough to own both ...
A 6 digit and a 5 digit reference...

I wouldn't do that trade. You're likely to regret it.
