Trade Gmt Master ii BLNR for Milgauss Z Blue??

ive fallen for the Milgauss Z blue! It's such a striking piece and so different from anything Rolex makes, the clean symmetrical face, the beautiful sunburst blue dial, the funky lighting bolt seconds hand and the fact that I've never seen one in the wild before on anyone makes me love it even more.

I've own the Blnr since January so it's still fairly new and in great condition! Would it be crazy for me to trade it? Would I end up losing to much during the trade?

I personally wouldn't.

Milgauss doesn't seem like a popular model. You may be able to get a discount easier than you can with BLNR. If you don't like your BLNR anymore, then do it. But if you think you may one day get BLNR again, then keep it and just save money to buy the Milgauss.

I see your dilemma, I also like both watches very much. However the factual situation of the market is that the blnr is much more popular than the milgauss. Then the best suggestion is to keep the blnr and save for the milgauss later

You're better off selling your blnr and go with cash in hand for the Milgauss. If you negotiate right you will score.

I read a fair bit about people considering getting rid of BLNR. Personally it's my favourite modern Rolex and I'd never be without one. My only flip idea was to flip a few year old one for a brand new one due to tiny cost involved.

Clearly you aren't feeling the love so just trade it. Trade the BLNR and give someone a chance to buy it who really loves and appreciates it because the BLNR is an incredible watch IMO.

The Z-Blue is striking but not for me.

I think it's the new metal blue dial under the green glass. I don't recall the other Milgauss being called that with the other dials ?

Emmanuel, assuming that you purchased your BLNR from an AD at list price, if you elect to sell it (even to a dealer) you should expect to come out flat at the very least. As others have said, the Z-Blue is not overly popular, which means it should be relatively easy to source at an AD of your choice and that you should be able to negotiate a good level of discount against it. Including the list price difference and the expected discount, you are likely to have cash in hand following the transactions.

Nah don't do it, Milgauss has a very nice dial and crystal , but no date , no GMT function , and I find the GMT more comfortable, but wear what you like, personally I wouldn't do it.
