Finally picked up a Radiomir
After missing a nice 210 on the board three weeks ago I was on a mad hunt for another Radiomir. Couldn't find one for the same price/condition/full set anywhere afterwards, but patience has never been a stong suit of mine. In the meantime, I started looking at the 380 but wanted my last Panerai to be a sandwich dial.
Found this 232 by accident, but the seller's pics weren't so hot and of course sometime in the past the prior owner changed out the original strap and buckle. Pretty much wrote it off. I had been talking with Mik, and he convinced me to have another look. The seller provided more watch pics and sent info on the books, boxes, stickers, warranty card, and other pieces. Made an offer, and was very happy at what was delivered. Really have to thank Mik for his generous help. Without it I would have never ended up with a 232. This forum is full of such great people. Not only those you speak with, but the wealth of knowledge you can obtain looking at old posts doing a little searching. Thanks to you all. Might take a bit of getting used to the size - uses a good bit more real estate than my Luminor, but it is thin in comparison. Going to have to decide on what strap to get now. No Jocke grade pics, I really appreciate his talent. It's a good day when I can find the shutter button... Panerai straps are so infuriatingly short... |

Finally picked up a Radiomir
Congrats! Take a look at mine. Look at the strap too, it is lonnnnnnnngg as I love the tail. This is my favorite combination as it pays homage to 3646 - Kampfschwimmer
The strap is 145/85 MM. looking at your wrist, you might need an even longer strap than mine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Lovely watch....enjoy.... and I have to agree - the "standard" straps are kinda' short...I never need the second keeper....

Nice watch - have to agree about the straps though - my wrist is only 7 1/4" but the strap only just reached the second keeper.
Enjoy your new purchase.. Regards Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
