I picked ss, as I'm not a fan of two tone. Both are beautiful though.

Agreed SS is the way to go here, but it is a very close call, and I rarely like the look of two tone.

The new TT version is killer.
The old SS version is better than the new one. If we are talking about the ones pictured, I would lean towards the SS version. |

Steel all the way, unless you go with complete gold YM. Very beautiful indeed.

Get the all gold YM2 w/ gold hands, you will not regret it. I been wearing my YM2 gold for a year and on Saturdays fight McGregor was wearing a YM2 gold. If you google celebrity Rolex yacht master 2 you will see may celebrities wearing the YM2.
Don't listen to anyone that says bad things about the YM2. |

IMO, this is one of the nicest tt's around. But if you are looking for versatility, I would go ss

SS without a shadow of a doubt. Either SS of full gold. My problem with TT is I don't like the colour combo of white metal with yellow/rose metal, doesn't look good to me.

Its your preference really. I have both the TT and full gold, but personally think the steel version is quite dull in comparison. For me the two tone is very nice but the full gold is even nicer - although it does 'shout'! The YM2 is the only Rolex I will keep. I moved my Hulk on a while back and likely will soon move my DSSD DB too.

I love that bit of RG with blue, rare combo on Rolex.
