great thread, thanks for all the pics!

agree the SD43 works very well on smaller wrists, came so close to getting one myself and still think about it from time to time...

congrats on a great collection.

My wrists aren't much bigger than yours and I have a couple of the same watches in my line up.

Dusty pic of mine from earlier today. (Date not set)

Love how matte the dial is in comparison to my BLNR!
Great picture - perfect watch

Awesome write-up, review, and pictures. Thanks for sharing. I have a smaller wrist at 6.4-6.5 inches as well so it was cool to see the review done with smaller wrists in mind. I really wish the SD43 would have replaced the SD4K with just the red lettering added personally, but I can totally understand the enamor with the SD43. It's a gorgeous piece! Wear it in good health

Thank you! The quality, fit and finish of Rolex is impeccable but for industrial produced movements, Lange is hard to beat. At the risk of derailing the thread, some pictures below:

Whilst a bit unusual, the Minerva Montblanc movements are top notch as well (my 1858 Chrono movement below):

Haha - you should definitely try it on.

I suspect it's because my wrist isn't that flat so it sits on top of it making it look bigger than it really is (if you know what I mean). If I had a flatter wrist I think it would have looked really good.

Great pickup - enjoy
You should try it on again, it may be the casebook that's causing the hover board effect. A 7.25 inch wrist should definitely accommodate the watch better than mine.

I love the movement as well - you can even feel it when winding the watch.
Thank you. The technical aspects of the watch often take a back step...but in this case the improvements are significant.

The largest i have tried on is the skydweller and i thought it was very comfortable, so i don,t think i would have a problem pulling the sd50 off. Pic for ref.
You absolutely will not have a problem.

Glad to hear this was helpful. I agreed that the 40mm SD4K size is great, but as the overall proportions of the SD43 (bezel, bracelet etc.) have increased in proportion it feels well balanced.

Thank you. Rolex bracelets are top notch, but the finishing of AP bracelets is exquisite. Having said that, I think the 15202 is the classic and if it wasn't for sentimental reasons I probably would have upgraded.
