About a week ago today we were surprised by the Sommelier, Butler and Safari Driver at one of the Sangita properties to a romantic private wine tasting at sunset on a hill overlooking the African Savana. A treat I will soon not forget!

The Champaign they chose to start with was nice and similar to Veuve Cliquot. Priced at around $25-$30 a bottle. I ordered a few to serve at dinner for some friends once we get a slide show of our trip ready to share.

This was a fun evening yesterday with a couple of my favorites...was having a little fun in the cellar and wanted something French....

....although I was a little late with the picture, as they didn't seem to last long enough....perhaps I should have opened a larger format!!!
