Icon3 Australian Eastern Daylight Saving Time

Hello administrators,

I have noticed the TRF is not on Australian eastern daylight savings since last weekend.

I am assuming it is possible for TRF members who log in from different countries to see their local time?

Go to your 'user cp' and then in the 'options' section select daylight saving time.

You should then find the times being shown with daylight saving time.

Hi Steve,

My DST Correction Option was set to "Automatically detect DST settings" which I have now set to "DST corrections always on".

So, do I have to switch this back when daylight saving ends?

I had exactly the same situation as you regarding auto/manual settings.

I don't know why it doesn't detect automatically, it might have something to do with firewalls, or the type of browsers we are using. I don't think it is a huge problem in the overall scheme of things.

I don't exactly know what you will need to do when daylight saving finishes. I guess we will just have to see when that comes around, but that will not be for about 6 months.

Given that we have now set our options to manual, then I suspect, that we will have to make a manual change upon daylight saving ending.
