I tried one on at an AD. It wears smaller than 43mm. Compared it directly on my wrist to my SubC Date. Sorry, folks ... on wrist, the SD43 is simply a slightly larger, and thicker SubC Date. To me, it certianly doesn't warrant the upcharge. A vintage SD might be preferable.

I just got this watch last week. I personally think it's one of the best looking watches Rolex designed recently. I see some posts about how this looks too big and some other complaints, but wait till you put this on your wrist. It's handsome and doesn't wear as big as some people say it does. People who like modern style watches will love the new Sea Dweller. I was hesitant to purchase this watch after reading some of the comments, but this turned out to be the best looking watch I ever purchased. It will stay as my favorite watch for a long time. Also, I've been tracking accuracy of the new movement and it's amazing after 1 week to see 1 second difference from a week ago. AMAZING!!! Unless you have very small wrist under 6 inches, try to wear this first before you make a judgement.
