Rolex Sub size question

So i have a quick question for you guys with new subs.

I am about a month away from pulling the trigger on my first new rolex and i have it down to a sub because i think the glide lock is just the best thing since sliced bread and I have wanted a sub since i was a kid.

my question is out of the box what is the biggest wrist one of these guys can fit?
i have a heck of a hard time finding watches that fit my monster wrist the last watch i bought was a Tissot and i have to order extra links at the time i bought it.

my wrist is around 8 1/2 can anyone let me know if they sub can open that much?
it really would stink to not be able to wear it the day i buy it and maybe i should preorder sub links to be on hand when i buy.

thanks for the info

Monster wrist Mike

When I bought my Sub new some years ago the AD had to add an extra link, which was F.O.C I might add. I think it's about the same size as yours...Not that I actually measure it!

Yes it fits.

Absolutely a 8.5 inch will fit! Rolex Submariner with glidelock. My bracelet was large enough, but I have it on a Rubber B enjoying since last winter. Good luck!

x2. Otherwise, it may fit, BUT you won't have any adjustment with the glide lock because it will be extended all the way out. If were me, I would order that link in advance!
