Finally...I've founded what I really want...

Today marked exactly 2 wks of wearing my latest acquisition white dial ss daytona. Wearing it everyday for 2 wks straight while other watches sits.

During those 2 wks, I worn the blk dial ss daytona for 1 day and immediately have it switched to the white dial.

My parents both agreed the white dial is the best looking watch out there (my old man has 35 yrs in Rolex).

Beside looking great it keep time down to 1 second, for 2 wks that is more than excellent.

Finally, I have no more urges of buying any other watches.

The white dial Milgauss and ss Subdate probably will be cut from the roster.

Are you sure you won't regret selling the others ? Personally, I could NOT live with just one Rolex.

Just got mine yesterday and I have to agree with you. I think I'm done for a while unless I get a call for a black one. Then the collection is complete.

If milgauss and subdate gone, I still have the ss blk dial daytona.

X2.

But somehow the blk dial daytona isn't that appealing as the white dial. It is still stunning but not as much comparing to the white dial.

We were at a ballroom Monday, lighting was low, have no problem reading the watch...with the blk dial that would be differently story.

Seriously!

But I bet you don't wear the daytona everyday.

To me, a fast car sitting under the cover isn't doing any good, especially when good money got spend on it.

You're right. My Daytona now gets worn 80% of the time. I have several vintage pieces but they mostly just sit in the safe, waiting to be sold 10-15 years from now.

I bought the Omega to wear during times when an expensive Daytona is not appropriate.

I agree with you about the Daytona. It is almost perfect.

Something I should reconsidered...maybe the subdate is perfect for the job.

Thanks.

SEE!!!!! You've already got your next purchase planted in your head. And you know that itch won't go away until you scratch it!!

What the hell...if you can live with an Omega Seamaster, just pick up one of those. Street prices for new in box from AD are under $1600. That's about 1/4 the price of a Sub-date which means you won't be afraid to bang it around a bit.

It was a tough decision for me too Tphan, but I'm happy with my choice. The black is stunning, but I just like the white a little better. Happy and Healthy wearing and let me know if you want to sell that black face, my brother is looking for one.
