Multiple Quote Help

I see that icon for multiple quote postings, but can't figure it out.

Click on mutliple 'multi-quote' icons until you have them all... click on the 'quote' of the last one chosen and they will all show up in your post.

Now back to "normal"
When I click on it, it just goes orange.
Only when I click on QUOTE does this box show up for me to type

I think the logic is... it can never know when you're done adding quotes (up to the limit) so you have to hit the regular quote icon to tell it you're done.

Edit: Maybe I didn't understand your question. Is the behavior I described what you're calling 'normal' -or- not??

Say you wish to quote 2 or more posts in your reply.

You click the 'multipost' button in each of your desired posts to turn the button orange.

Then you go down to the bottom of the thread and just under the last post you will see "post reply" button.

Click that button and a window will come up with the reply box and the quotes you have selected. From there you can add your response and post it.

I have been a member for over 10 years and just now took the time to figure out how to do this. Maybe bumping this thread will help someone else wanting to know how to replying to multiple posts.
