I also received an email from Jon Ross at this address. I also received an email worded the same way from 26miles@gmail.com. I’m not sure what to make of them.

Seems like Jon Ross was hacked on trf but that email has been used at other watch sites for scams. Beware

Same here, Please be aware !!! This is a FISHING Scam in which they try to convince you to login to TRF but in fact it is a fishing site that's just there to steal your username and password.

When you lookup the websites they target are TRF, Timezone and Watchuseek. The fishing site is http://forumbringout.com/ and there you will see the copied login pages which in fact lead to the fishing website.
