NYE dinner last nite.. My turn..
Work in progress.. Fried the bacalao and stew simmering, while preparing the pasta Aioli with anchovy sauce.
Our 33rd Anniversary table is set..
Starting with an antipasto..
Fried bacalao..- a little fennel on the side
and vermicelli with anchovy sauce... (tho this pic is of it 'cold'.. forgot to take a picture when freshly served...Got distracted by its appeal.. LOL..).

Last night we tried stuffed chicken and angle hair pasta. Turned out to be a good one!

Chicken breasts were stuffed and baked with; sun dried tomatoes, kalamata olives, capers, feta cheese and served on a bed of garlic, lemon angle hair pasta.

In the mtns so no cooking on the ceramic grill tonight. Used the Weber to grill some dry rubbed pork chops, while Laurie made the roasted brussel sprouts and portobello risotto, all served with an ‘05 Fritz Cabernet Sauvignon from the cellar.

Wonderful! I would love to be in the mountains at a cabin enjoying a great meal and wine like that.

Decided to have the Groth cab with USDA Prime strip and bone-in ribeye. Also had some portobello mushrooms, zucchini and corn. Everything was yummy.
