So, I did talk to the seller, not sure if I should mention his name in this forum, but he said that he will take back the WG Daytona, 116509 and give it a Full Service from his watch maker who's been working on Rolex for over 35 years...

His watchmaker charges about $500 for a Service which will be billed to the Seller. I offered to pay for half anyway...

I can have the choice of either Green, (superluminova) or the Blue, (Chromalight) I'm going with the blue since it was only the Hour hand that was off-color.

Very light Polish, and Bob's your uncle...

Before pics and I'll return to this thread when it's completed..

Based on the picture I'm guessing the watch came with mixed hands. Hour hand with Green Superluminova and minute hand with Blue Chromalight.

Personally I’d want to know why the watch was redialled and be sure the dial was ligit.

Yes to make it period correct, it would be the Superluminova, but I'm going to have them only replace the hour hand in Chromalight.

That is a pretty good synopsis, but you have neglected to touch on the emotional Roller-coaster, of having to sell my Smurf, to give back to the family and not be selfish owning 2ea. Rolex PM Pieces. I mean my wife just bought me a $150k Porsche 911...
