RG 44 at an Italian

I haven't worn my RG 44 that much this year so I decided to wear it to a nice Italian trattoria, for the first real carbs I've eaten this year. Food was great, we had bubbling hot lasagne, mushroom tortellini but the best was a delicious gooey chocolate brownie with salted caramel and chocolate sauce!

There's been a couple of sales of the RG here recently but I can gladly say I loved wearing the watch and it still looks magnificent and it is going nowhere.

Man you have a lot of restraint. No carbs and not wearing that beauty! I’d break down in a weekend

I still love mine and its not going anywhere. Personally I think its a classic, if not iconic, AP design. I'm talking of the 'old' spec here, naturally!

Thanks, I had a bad Xmas so I had to keep my blood sugar down this month so not really my choice.

Thanks, Chris, I put this on and for the first time I was thinking this could make the Zeitwerk come quicker but once I put it on I was decided, the ZW can wait.

Yes, both are cool, I haven't actually seen the new one in the flesh yet, but then not much incentive to go into London these days, but as I love reverse panda dials I know this is the one for me.

Cheers, it's funny that after wearing my PPs I find my Subcs to wear a bit thick and cumbersome, but not so with the much larger 44mm, I think due to it being well balanced. 42 ceramics should be right up your street tho.

Oh, it was so good Brian, I can still taste the salted caramel melting over the chocolate... Ok better stop I'm putting on weight just thinking about it.

Still the best 44mm AP imo.

Interestingly enough they're keeping their prices used and not dropping like the other APs

Hope you miss it enough to buy it again when the new business it helped start up explodes.
