BLNR Sitting in a Display Case

Wandered into the local AD and there in their display case was a BLNR and a non 50th anniv Sea Dweller. So beginning to show up. Also they sold a hulk yesterday

That’s great! With all the incomings and as showing looks like Rolex is finally opening the flood gates a little!
I saw a JC in the display the other day!

Couldn't it be that the watch is "taken" by somebody on a waiting list? Just awaiting delivery?

Or has the situation been so dire that Rolex hasn't been delivering any watches at all lately?

Nope was there for sale. This AD does not use lists. Everything goes into the display cases with few exceptions for past customers.

Interesting!

Could an AD who puts "taken" watches into their display cases (like they are for sale including with prices) run into problems? I'm thinking about state and national law, and Rolex regulations.

You guys get it so easy in the USA (certain parts?)...demand doesn’t even match supply.
Wish we could say the same here in the UK

Cool. Just curious, where about a are you located? Are there many other ADs to compete with? Just curious as I know geographic location sometimes impacts their practices.
