Whilst financially it would make a lot of us quite happy, it would be a real shame to remove one of the features that make this reference so special

doubt it will happen. they want to sell watches, not necessarily balloon grey and second hand markets (though this has always worked to their advantage)

I really hope Rolex are all hyped out like the rest of us, and have now ditched this idea even if it was once a plan.
