I was excited to open it — haven’t had one in almost a year.

What a spectacular specimen of Mouton. Definitely needs several hours in the d canter — but this is definitely one of those wines I like to ‘play’ with - and watch it open up.

It has a BIG nose with some coffee, a little tobacco and pencil shavings. It is definitely a full bodied rich wine that is truly seamless throughout the entire palate — it has a kind of youthful Bordeaux style finish. For a nearly 22 year old Bordeaux it has A LOT of life left in it.

Definitely open one my friend!!!! It won’t disappoint.

Cheers buddy!
