I prefer the old style bracelet. I was told by AD that it was too expensive to produce the old bracelet and they will transition to the new style. I like the blue dial but will keep my 236.

I would agree that the daylight it is a more contemporary watch which lacks the historical Panerai look. I personally wear my 236 much more than any other watch 233,270,249 etc. It to me just works well as a daily wearer. I would say its not my favorite overall PAM and you definitely need the bracelet.
