Speedy Tuesday anyone else reserved one ?

Happy new year all.

I have been on the speedy Tuesday waiting list forever. I almost lost hope of getting one but I just received this email from omega. What does this mean? Should I hope to get one or this is just new year's greetings?

What makes me think it is related to the speedy Tuesday is that they used "speedy Tuesday" as the email subject.

I think it was sent to all owners and interested parties (waiting list) - I got it as well.

Say, did you get your ST yet? How did the 1171 fitting go for you... ?

Picked up my 1171/633 yesterday. Although I LOVE the ST & 1171 combo those 633 end-links are going to drive me mad!!!
Anyone here attempt to mod the curvature of the 633s to properly seat the ST...

Had a quick question about the Speedy Tuesday. I really like the moonwatch, but I want the contrasting dials and it seems like they are always a limited production run -CK2998, Speedy Tuesday etc.

Are people still getting them? I mean the ones who reserved them, are they just starting to get the delivery? Did they produce all of the watches in the series? Can one still get one at a boutique if the person who reserved it didn't buy it?

Just wondering what is the best way to get one 2018 edition? They will be a 2018 edition. Would be cool to see it when they release it.

All 2012 Speedy Tuesdays were reserved by "us" on January 10th, 2017. As of today, maybe all but a handful have reached their owners. A few "owners" have put theirs up for sale (at a considerable markup); Head to Chrono24 where you can find quite a few.

p.s. As for any 2018 edition(s), we will have to wait for Baselworld 2018 to see what Omega has in store. Unlike the Speedy Tuesday, all LEs before the ST and (most likely) all that come after will be distributed as per usual to their prime Boutiques and in turn, said Boutiques will ring up their prime customers...
