Took me over a year but a mile stone for me.

Well, I hit 1000 posts, hard to believe. It took me a little over a year, and I check this site a few times a day. I love TRF, this is the best Rolex forum out there, thanks to all who make this such a great site. I figured I would show some pics of the watches that I have purchased this year, I have bought and sold a few this year, and one I flipped a couple of weeks after purchase. Thanks again to everyone who makes TRF the great forum it is, and thanks to all the members for sharing all their knowledge, this is a fantastic place to learn.

First a couple of subs, both sold to friends, the COSC just last week.

OH, had a Omega SMP 2254.50 for a few months also

I had a quick fling with a Expy II

OH, had a Marathon SAR also as a beater, cool watch but not a Rolex.

Picked up a Milgauss GV, could not feel the love so a quick flip a week later. It was cool to grab one of the first V's out though.

My latest purchase and the one I will never part with, I absolutly love this watch. I am actually thinking about picking up another, possibly vintage but maybe a modern pepsi.

Thanks guys, I am seriously thinking about another GMT II, this time a pepsi. Call me crazy but I love the GMT's and the though of never being able to get another from my AD is a huge bummer for me. I will be looking for that great deal on a beautiful blue/red GMT in the future. I think a vintage from 73' would be really special, I will keep my eyes open for that one.

Quick question for ya'll, why do some GMT II's have the sub's bracelet on them (like the one on our sales corner), I assume they are replacements. I love the classic bracelet on the GMT II's, so comfortable.

Congratulations on 1,000..

As far as the 93150 bracelet on a GMT II. From the best of my knowledge, the only GMT offered with the Sub style bracelet as an option was the ref. 16700. Presumably this was to be able to wear over a flight suit for this Master model using the extension links.

Interesting, thanks for that Larry. You see, that is why this forum is by far my favorite, I got banned from TZ so I don't have much of a choice..lol Well actually it was supposed to be a short suspension but they have yet to re-instate my privileges.

Trevor,
Congrat's on 1K. A GMT II in any combo is a great addition to your collection.

You can't beat the GMT. If I had to sell all but one the GMT would be my one.
