If Rolex were to collaborate with another company....

What company would you like to see them work with, by this i mean if they could work with another company who maybe produces lovely looking watches with bog standard movements or companies with lovely movements but hideous exteriors?

For me there's two i'd love to see, first would be a Hublot with Rolex movement, i love the big bang look, but all that money for a basic movement seems a bit of a let down, the other of course would be Panerai, i'd love to see some of their ETA range with Rolex movements. So anyone else got any ideas, would Rolex ever work with another company again, or even buy a share in another company?

Odd you should mention it..

Rolex does work with other companies...all the time.. They just choose what they want to keep or not.. They worked with Patek with their new silicon hairspring design, but Rolex decided their Parachrom was the way to go. Rolex has been involved with tourbellon design, but does not choose to produce watches with "complications".

And Panerai.....they originally came with Rolex movements..

Yeah, the original Panerai with Rolex movements was what i was thinking about, the Hublot is a watch that looks fantastic, but has nothing to write home about internally, i'd love to see one of those with a serious movement inside, although i dare say the price would be well beyond those outside of the Monaco Yacht Club
