Daytona "Winner's Watch" - 24H LeMans und 24H Daytona

None on the market at the moment except a link from a January thread about a 2005 winners watch at Bobs Watches.

It raises some eyebrows because it was a series winners watch vs. a specific Rolex24 winners watch.

I believe the sale listing at Bob’s Watches is actually a series winners watch - not a Rolex24 winners watch. Thinking it’s Craig Stanton’s watch who won the Grand-Am Rolex Series championship in 2005 in the GT class. But it could have been on its second or third owner by now. My radar says the 2005 Rolex 24 winners watch was a SS 16520 - the series champs got TT’s after the Mexico City 250 race wrapped up the season in November.

An acquaintance put his Rolex24 up on eBay a few years back for a while. The auction was a valuation tracker to set a fair price to charge one of his friends. The funds were destined to invest in a restaurant. It went for a shade over Bob’s asking price.

Now if you’re desperately seeking one and budget is not an issue, call Scott...

He’s got a bunch!

The provenance alone being from Scott Pruetts collection would make any one of his watches a good $150,000+ each. One of the winningest sports car drivers in the world over a 50 year career.
