Was wanting to have a look at one of these but can't see many references for ADs having them in stock or people actually owning one, are they pretty rare this side of the Atlantic?

Ryan, havnt ever seen one in the flesh. I visited my local Panerai AD in Norwich on Friday and they only had 5 models in the window......two gold,two white faced and a chrono......all the least popular.
They had even sold the 242 that had been hanging about for over a year !

I'll be visiting my AD this week, last time i was in they had quite a few PAMs, but they do shift them and get new ones in every month. I'm amazed Panerai sell so well just now, there is no real dip from what i've seen even with the price increases.

Well, went and tried on a 270 and the 1950s style case just doesn't suit me, looks like i'll be looking elsewhere for another watch

Although the good news, maybe not for this forum is that Jaeger LeCoultre look and feel fantastic and the AD does them as well
