i doubt it. the 5168G is the big aquanaut. Its WG, but if they released a 5168A that would probably strip demand from the G version. I anticipate a 5164G before a 42mm aquanaut in SS.

Plus anything they release in SS that is new is going to be next to impossible to obtain
It will cost you way more than a 5164 on the secondary market, and IMO the 5164 is nicer anyway and wears bigger and is thicker than the 5167 (and the 5168G for that matter). Id look at that if i was you.

IMO, it is a not matter of if, but when, Patek will come out with a larger Aquanaut in SS. Just look at the past 20 year history of the Aquanaut. They are going larger in size every 10 years or so. So in 2017, they released the larger 5168G. They will release a larger Aquanaut in SS, but they will probably discontinue the current 5167A when they do so.

I also predict they will do the same for the 5711/1A with a larger size to replace the current 5711/1A within the next 5 years.

Yep I agree, new larger aquanaut coming at some point. Why not?

Thanks for the comments guys.
well heres is hoping that by bringing in the 5168 they been testing the water re the jumbo size.
and given a number of Ad in Uk have laughed ( politely) when ive asked to go on teh list for a 5168, its proving popular or maybe just a bit scarce at the moment?

One was available as of yesterday at Michael Spiers down in Truro. Probably worth giving them a call and see if it has been taken since.

I’m not surprised it didn’t last the day! Personally I prefer the grey dial of the 5167a though, I found the 5168g looks too black rather than blue.

Not sure it will go up to 42mm, due to the squarish shape these do wear quite big and so I think the SS will stay at 40mm. As I've said don't think there will be much action on the SS ranges for a couple of years until things die down.
