I love washing my watches. I do it daily with the one I am wearing that day. It’s easy, fast and very gratifying to see that sparkle. I have also learned over the years that it’s the best maintance you can do for your bracelet and watch.

What kind of soap do you wash with? Just a mild dish soap or otherwise?

I use just a few drops of Dawn in a bowl with very warm water. Swish it around, work the bracelet around, srub it a bit and let it sit for about 10min. Rinse, dry and wear.

I often do this while I'm waiting for the 'Grand Dame' before leaving to go out. Its nice having a fresh clean timepiece for a night out.

Well , the pics made me give the sub c date a bath. Now I think I appreciate it, more than ever. How often do you recommend a washing , I wear it on the gulf, on the boat

If it gets salt water on it then I would recommend washing it more regularly. At least rinse it under fresh water when you get off the boat. I probably wash one of mine at least every week.
