Hello folks. I’ve been wanting to get a Pepsi for some time now but have been looking for a good condition one
I came across this one.
Born coke but has Pepsi insert
One owner
Serviced three times by RSC
Has service warranty till 9/18
Full set with box and papers
Y serial
Offered for $7500

Please help me with opinion on condition and price advice

Definitely polished but if all legit, excellent value with b&p. Seen in person or online only?

I assume this is a private seller and not a trusted seller? If so that could explain the lower price. Looks pretty good to me. I know how long you have been searching. Hopefully this works out for you!

looks too polished for my liking. Not butchered or anything, but aren't there supposed to be chamfers? They're completely gone.

The 16710 had very minimal chamfers. I think it looks good at a great price. I have a Y series as well and highly recommend it. Best of both worlds with slim case, SEL, lug holes, and lumes that work!

It's had a good polish, but if you're ok with that the only thing I can say is to buy the seller.

If you trust the guy, it's a really good deal.

Chamfers on a Y serial are very subtle. I had mine “put back” on a Y serial Sub by ABC Watchworks.

Wish we had a better picture of the crown guards from top but otherwise things look decent.

Something looks off with the 5 o’clock lug in picture 6. Doesn’t seem to match the other pictures ?

Any updates OP? Seeing that it's still under warranty and has b&p, I'm going to say this has "too good to be true" for the price written all over it. Hopefully, for your sake, I'm wrong.

I am figuring out ways of shipping since the seller lives outside that outside the US and will be coming later this month. So I will need more verification and try to meet in person

I don’t think it’s over-polished at all. I just bought a 16710 last week and I can say I paid more than $7500. If the seller is legit I’d jump on it.
