After having had the SD4K for about 2 weeks, I have to say the SD43 puts a bigger smile on my face every time I put it on. There's just something that feels more special about it - while the SD4K was really only elevated (to me at least) by the fact it was a short run and is discontinued. However, it's definitely staying in the collection - I need that classic and timeless Rolex!

For me, SubC Date > SD4K > SD43. And I have 7 3/4” wrists.
I like the cyclops. While the date in a dive watch is not critical, my watches do multiple duties. I don’t wear a dive watch just for diving. So for versatility I like the cyclops. Between the SubC and SD4K, the different dive ratings don’t matter to me any more. I used to be seduced by specs. That’s why I bought the DSSD originally. Didn’t like it on my wrist and traded it eventually for my 16710 BLRO.
